KL boasts a booming coworking scene, quality internet infrastructure, and diverse food options from Malay to Chinese and Indian cuisines.

As the northern hemisphere enters the chilly winter months, many digital nomads dream of escaping to warmer climates. Malaysia offers an appealing option with its year-round tropical weather, low cost of living, and modern amenities. Though it has plenty of idyllic beach destinations, Malaysia's cities also have much to offer remote workers seeking a temporary home base.
